理論上來講 ，萊科口中的上海帅莱"陣容方麵問題" ，要分為兩部分來看 ，海港傷病是标冠其中之一 ，其次就是军主将留三後衛體係中的人員組合 。
站在球隊的科或角度 ，本賽季初在引援方麵其實是东体的目花了大力氣的 ，引進了外援中衛邁斯托羅維奇 、上海帅莱國腳中衛李昂 、海港門將杜佳以及年輕的标冠"00後"中場阿布拉汗 。而在整個賽季過程中 ，军主将留上述四名新援裏真正為球隊有過一定出場記錄的科或 ，隻有李昂和阿布拉汗，东体的目萊科自己似乎也在為他帶來的上海帅莱新體係尋找合適的搭配 。前五輪中大放異彩的海港新人阿布拉汗 ，在聯賽深入之後 ，出場時間逐漸減少 。第一階段後半段比賽中的首發後腰楊世元 ，在爭冠組比賽中亮相不多 。最後多場比賽中頻頻獲得機會的買提江，其實也是直到今年足協杯開打之後 ，才逐漸迎來了屬於自己的機會 。倒是兩個邊翼衛位置上 ，呂文君和李申圓的組合比較固定 ，不過也因為兩人出勤率較高 ，使得球隊在這兩個位置上給人缺少後手的感覺 。
充實的陣容和板凳厚度 ，同樣是一支爭冠球隊的必需 ，尤其是當球隊在麵對同級別實力的對手時。以海港隊負於山東泰山的比賽為例 ，當後者能夠在調兵遣將時 ，逐一換上國腳級或有過國字號經曆的球員時，海港隊的選擇相對就要少一些。"沒有取得冠軍肯定是不開心的 ，我們的目標就是奪冠 。但另一方麵 ，當球隊發揮出最好水平 、展現全力的時候，我覺得還是會滿意的 。我們應該把這個賽季的經驗作為教訓 ，用到下一個賽季當中，爭取在下個賽季向著更大的目標奮鬥 。"
萊科在賽後的表態 ，似乎給出了兩層意思 。首先是 ，不出意外的話 ，下個賽季他仍將率領這支球隊繼續征戰；其次是，在結束本賽季所有比賽後 ，所有人都需要坐下來思考和總結一番 ，在下個賽季來臨之前 ，這個休賽期內能夠做些什麽 ，同時又能對本賽季出現的問題作出哪些整改 。這其中 ，當然也包括萊科自己在日常訓練和比賽中的一些選擇 。
