近日 ，今年據廣西壯族自治區體育局方麵透露 ，中国战绩今年中國杯將再次暫停舉辦 。杯再
受國際疫情影響 ，次因此前参赛惨淡“中國杯”賽事組委會經與國際足球聯合會 、疫情中國足球協會等認真研究 ，停办決定暫停舉辦2021年“中國杯”國際足球錦標賽 ，国足待疫情好轉且具備舉辦條件後再恢複辦賽 。今年這也是中国战绩“中國杯”國際足球錦標賽在2020年因疫情影響暫停舉辦後，連續第二年暫停舉辦 。杯再
“中國杯”國際足球錦標賽是次因此前参赛惨淡國際足聯批準的國際足球A級賽 ，也是疫情落戶中國的最高規格足球賽之一 ，是停办國內唯一以“中國”命名的足球賽事 。
此前中國杯在2017-2019年曾連續舉辦三屆 ，国足每屆賽事除了中國隊參加外 ，今年還邀請另外三支國家隊，國足從未打進過決賽，2018年和2019年由於在中國杯上戰績糟糕 ，國足曾遭輿論炮轟 。

半決賽 ：國足0-6威爾士
