北京時間9月11日，全运第十四屆全運會組委會公布了女足項目賽程安排，足赛足奥战对阵东由水慶霞掛帥 、程女王霜領銜的运队女足奧運隊將於9月16日16點迎來全運會首戰，對手是日首東道主陝西女足 。
本屆全運會女足成年組將有8支球隊參賽，道主分為兩個小組 。陕西A組包括女足奧運隊 、全运陝西隊、足赛足奥战对阵东江蘇隊 、程女遼寧隊；B組包括山東隊 、运队北京隊、日首上海隊 、道主四川隊 。陕西
今年的全运全運會女足比賽實行賽會製，2天一賽 ，8隊分成兩組 ，小組前2名出線 ，隨後決出冠亞季軍。決賽將於9月25日（19點）在陝西體育場進行 。
