在看過VAR後 ，主裁判直接出示紅牌罰下了馬爾康。被打的阿克圖克奧盧顯得情緒極為低落 ，主帥特裏姆趕緊保護性地將其換下 。雙方場上都隻剩下10人 ，最終加拉塔薩雷客場2-0獲勝。
在賽後接受采訪時 ，老帥特裏姆坦言這張紅牌是“活久見” ：“我見過球員們在更衣室內吵架，但在場上打隊友還是第一次見到 。我們需要解決這件事 ，馬爾孔需要立刻向阿克圖克奧盧和隊友們進行道歉 。”
