按照此前媒體的曝瑞報道 ，歐足聯的士法重磅罰單將分為兩個方麵 。一是院已巨額經濟罰款 ，二是告知將在這三隊在未來兩年內逐出歐戰 。這三支球隊都拿到了下賽季歐冠正賽門票，欧足欧超如果他們被驅逐出歐冠的得对話 ，取而代之的球队將是那不勒斯 、皇家社會和皇家貝蒂斯 。
歐足聯要處罰歐超三強 ，歐超三強也已經把歐足聯告上了法庭 ，他們認為歐足聯違法了歐盟競技法 。如今塞爾電台指出 ，瑞士聯邦法院已經告知歐足聯和國際足聯 ，不得對歐超球隊進行處罰和製裁 。現在 ，就看歐足聯會做出怎樣的應對了 。
在創立歐超之前 ，弗洛倫蒂諾就曾谘詢過相關法律專家。當時法律專家就指出，歐足聯無權將歐超球隊逐出歐戰 。如果歐足聯執意要重罰歐超球隊的話 ，那雙方之間必然會打上一場官司 。如果皇馬、巴薩、尤文最終贏了官司 ，那“投誠”歐足聯的歐超9隊就虧大了 。他們不但退出了歐超，甚至還得向歐足聯繳納一筆罰款 。這筆罰款的金額，是俱樂部單賽季歐戰收入的5% 。
