信息時報訊（記者 白雲）今晚8時 ，广州2021中超揭幕戰將在廣州天河體育場進行 ，队将待盼德比廣州隊與廣州城上演羊城德比。帅迫伤愈
新賽季廣州隊隻出不進 ，不及隻有高拉特 、战揭阿蘭兩名入籍球員租借回歸 。幕后樸誌洙 、将均徐新 、广州劉奕鳴等人離隊；保利尼奧、队将待盼德比塔利斯卡因巴西疫情嚴重而滯留無法歸隊，帅迫伤愈缺席第一階段賽事報名 。不及此外 ，战揭張修維 、幕后何超 、将均李學鵬 、广州洛國富 、費南多可能因傷無緣比賽 ，好在蔣光太、高準翼、張琳芃都已經恢複 。
賽前發布會上 ，卡納瓦羅表示 ：“聯賽第一場以德比的方式開始 ，不僅對我的球員，對對方隊員也是非常大的刺激。有一些重要隊員沒有來到第一階段的賽區，還有一些球員有傷病 ，但是我還是一直在表達，誰穿著帶著隊徽的衣服 ，都知道自己的責任是什麽 ，知道自己該做什麽。不管誰上場比賽 ，誰踢首發誰是替補 。我從隊員們的眼神和行動中也能感覺到，他們迫不及待希望比賽開始 ，想盡快來到揭幕戰中。”
隊長鄭智表示 ：“現階段我還能幫助到球隊 ，這才是最重要的。就本賽季來說 ，我現在還是廣州隊的球員 ，所以還會享受比賽 ，盡全力幫助球隊 。”
廣州隊與廣州城在中超交鋒18次 ，廣州隊10勝2平6負 。雙方近5次中超交鋒 ，廣州隊全勝 。
