北京時間11月3日 ，阿曼阿联據克羅地亞媒體“vecernji”報道 ，变更奔赴补招阿曼隊主教練馬裏奧-托基奇近日在接受該家媒體采訪的计划時候表示 ，他和布蘭科-伊萬科維奇（Brankom Ivankovićem）從沒說過打不贏中國隊就要辭職的酋已話 ，“那是后卫中國人編出來的” 。

阿曼準備11月5日打完與敘利亞的熱身賽後前往中國備戰，但是由於本場比賽改在沙迦進行 ，阿曼臨時變更計劃啟程奔赴阿聯酋 ，伊萬科維奇已經補招後衛馬布魯克進入國家隊，另一位後衛蓋拉尼將因傷錯過與中國隊的比賽 。
