北京時間8月20日晚，本泽西甲豪門皇馬宣布 ，马合幕主將會與本澤馬簽訂一份新的同内續約合同，他的动降合同期從2022年變為2023年。而來自西班牙的薪怕续约《DC》給出了本澤馬續約的內幕 ：由於皇馬的財力有限 ，本澤馬在新賽季會降薪10% ，成累而他原本可以續約到2024年 ，本泽但是马合幕主不想成為球隊的負擔 ，因此隻續約到2023年 。同内
本澤馬在2009年的动降夏天加盟了皇馬，也成為了戰艦陣中的薪怕续约核心球員 ，自從C羅在2018年走後 ，成累本澤馬這位此前C羅的本泽進攻僚機更是成為了皇馬鋒線的核心。截止到目前為止 ，马合幕主本澤馬為皇馬出戰559場，同内貢獻279球144助攻 。並隨隊獲得了4次歐冠冠軍 ，3次西甲冠軍 ，2次國王杯冠軍 ，3次西超杯冠軍 ，4次世俱杯冠軍，3次歐超杯冠軍 。
這位33歲的法國老將與皇馬的合同在2022年到期 ，而皇馬非常欣賞本澤馬的競技狀態，因此一直希望與其簽訂新合同。而最終皇馬在昨日宣布，與本澤馬續約至2023年 。
西班牙媒體《DC》給出了本澤馬續約的內幕 。據悉 ，本澤馬對於俱樂部的經濟狀況有所了解 ，因此主動選擇在2021-2022賽季降薪10% 。而皇馬被本澤馬的舉動感動了，承諾在2022-2023賽季為本澤馬加薪15%作為補償 。
另外需要指出的是 ，本澤馬本可與皇馬續約至2024年 ，但是他卻選擇續約到2023年。本澤馬不想成為球隊的負擔與拖累，他希望在2023年後根據自己的身體條件與狀態 ，再決定是否與皇馬再次續約。
