與此同時，C羅還爆料，稱曼聯俱樂部中“一直有人想趕我走” 。最後，C羅表示 ，自己已經無法繼續尊重主帥滕-哈格了 ，因為對方不尊重他 。這樣的言論相當於是將雙方的矛盾公開化 ，放在了桌麵上 。曼聯選擇在這個時候做出解約的決定 ，也就不奇怪了 。
事後 ，C羅感謝了曼聯球迷，也表示自己感謝曼聯俱樂部 ，希望雙方在提前解約之後各自安好。不過C羅目前還在為世界杯進行備戰 ，不知道這件事會不會對葡萄牙的世界杯之旅造成影響 。
