上海海港冬訓至今一共踢了8場熱身賽，海港本土球員中進球最多的本土是打入4球的陳純新 。他的年级進球數和巴西前鋒洛佩斯相同，在隊內僅次於打入8球的生爆奧地利國腳中鋒阿瑙托維奇 。

去年開始進入上海海港一線隊的阿瑙陳純新，在球隊新賽季經曆換帥之後 ，海港還是本土用自己在今年冬訓中的表現 ，贏得了一席之地 。年级
今年冬訓的生爆小爆發 ，和陳純新去年一年在一線隊得到的发场鍛煉有著巨大的關係 。他自己也這麽認為 ，球仅奇“整個2020年 ，次于畢竟是跟著一線隊的高水平老大哥和外援一起訓練 ，這對我幫助非常大 ，可以說是自己很明顯感覺到有提高 。去年 ，雖然上場打正式比賽的機會不是很多 ，但從迪拜到蘇州 ，再到卡塔爾 ，一整年的高強度訓練我一堂都沒有拉下 ，而且自己平時還會加練 ，所以我覺得自己是正在向上走的一個趨勢 。”
陳純新還表示，一線隊第一年的經曆讓他在心態上也更加適應了，“去年熱身賽踢得蠻多，正式比賽機會少 ，所以在亞冠賽場完成自己一線隊首秀的那場比賽 ，其實發揮得不是特別滿意 。今年我的心態已經適應了這種節奏 ，適應這種比賽的氛圍 ，發揮得比較自如 。”
“能夠有進球 ，是對自己能力的一種認可 ，也是平時刻苦訓練的一種回報 。”陳純新表示 ，熱身賽的進球並不能真正代表什麽，但他會以此為契機 ，繼續努力提升自己的水平 。
他還透露 ，自己不錯的表現也和球隊新主帥萊科給他安排的新位置有關 ，“我現在的位置相對來說回歸到中場一點 ，也就是前腰 。而且主教練的戰術打法比較和我的胃口 ，再加上我在比賽中的運氣比較好一點 。”
對於這位年輕球員 ，主帥萊科在平時的訓練中也沒有少“操心”。陳純新介紹說 ：“新教練在訓練上幫助了我很多 ，特別是這個新位置的理解上 。有時候在訓練場上 ，他會拉著我的手 ，帶著我如何跑位，什麽時候往回 ，什麽時候往前。他特別強調空間概念 ，不需要我做無效的跑動 。”
和其他隊友的感受一樣 ，陳純新也是說到了一個“累”字 ，“冬訓第一個星期到現在最大的感受就是疲勞感 。主教練很強調體能 ，每周都安排高強度的比賽 ，八周下來我們踢了很多場熱身賽 。而且不光是比賽，平時的訓練都保持著這樣的強度 。”
中超新賽季即將開始，談及自己的目標，陳純新說道：“希望自己能多踢點比賽 ，有好的表現 。更希望球隊能夠朝著冠軍前進 。”
