北京時間4月23日晚 ，朗尼联已C罗曼聯在爭四關鍵戰中再次敗北 ，经争客場1-3不敵阿森納 。无望賽後，说点曼聯主帥朗尼克直言 ，该由紅魔已經徹底沒有了爭四的主罚希望 。
當被提問“曼聯的朗尼联已C罗爭四希望是否告破”時 ，朗尼克回答道 ：“毫無疑問是经争的 。對我來說 ，无望甚至在比賽之前就已經不太可能了 。说点但是该由在今天的結果之後，是主罚的，希望破滅了 。朗尼联已C罗”
“肯定有許多工作要做 ，经争我們在賽前就清楚 。无望我們展示了我們能踢出怎樣的足球 ，盡管我們必須要總結那兩粒過早的失球 ，但我們仍然展現出了態度 ，我們今天不應該指責球員們的態度 。我們表現出了進步 ，但是最終的結果讓人失望 。我們在過早丟球之後的回應很好，上下半場都有很多的進球機會 。今天我們做得不好的 ，是我們在禁區內和禁區外的防守 。”
朗尼克還談到了VAR的幾次判罰 ，“我認為VAR有3次（對曼聯）非常不走運的判罰 。對我來說 ，阿森納的第三球是明顯的越位，C羅的第二球則沒有越位 。我們對VAR今天的決定很不開心 ，我們的表現有進步 ，但是結果讓人失望 。”
談到B費踢丟的點球 ，朗尼克說道：“賽後我問了C羅 ，他說他隻是覺得不應該由自己來主罰 。那個點球本可以幫我們大忙 ，扳平比分 ，甚至有可能改變整場比賽 。總的來說 ，我們太不走運了。”
曼聯名宿斯科爾斯此前在接受采訪時表示 ，林加德曾告訴他“曼聯的更衣室是一個災難” 。朗尼克回應道 ：“我不知道 ，你應該去問林加德 。很明顯 ，在今天這樣的比賽結束後 ，更衣室裏會彌漫著巨大的失望 ，這對我來說是正常的。”
