5月24日，菲律從卡塔爾多哈傳來消息，宾赴备战报正在多哈備戰卡塔爾世預賽亞洲區40強賽的多哈菲律賓隊截止到當地時間23日晚些時候 ，僅有13人報到 ，仅人及餘下被征調的剩余球員何時能到，仍是未知未知數 。
當地時間5月20日深夜 ，菲律菲律賓隊由馬尼拉出發前往多哈。宾赴备战报當時 ，多哈除主教練庫珀、仅人及其助手及球隊外事人員外，剩余總共就隻有6名球員隨隊出征 ，未知其中包括隊長施羅克 、菲律前鋒哈特曼(兩人均在聯合城隊效力) 。宾赴备战报另外4名球員均來自“菲律賓發展隊”，多哈他們分別是馬爾·迪亞諾 、溫霍夫 、加約索和德維拉。加約索和馬爾·迪亞諾今年1月曾一度加盟了泰國的蒙通聯隊 。
菲律賓隊多哈當地時間5月21日清晨抵達多哈後 ，隻能是進行簡單活動。此後幾天內，有7名球員陸續抵達多哈 ，與菲律賓隊匯合。他們分別是來自加拿大太平洋隊的中場球員巴爾迪西莫 、效力於直布羅陀聖約瑟夫隊的中鋒吉拉多 、在德國第四級別隊伍效力的門將施普曼 、在瑞士第2級別克薩馬科斯隊效力的左後衛肯普特，在泰國超級聯賽效力的後衛席爾瓦 、伍德蘭德及中場球員雷切爾特 。
目前，仍有12名菲律賓隊球員未抵達多哈 。其中，效力於德國第3級別聯賽球隊的中場球員奧貝爾瑪爾22日還代表馬格德堡隊參加了聯賽；而兩名效力德乙的中場球員施特勞斯以及第一次入選的霍爾特曼23日還參加了一輪德乙聯賽 。
在英格蘭效力的著名門將埃瑟裏奇因剛剛結婚 ，也還未趕到多哈 。
在馬來西亞聯賽效力的後衛德穆加、門將蒙多薩目前也未能落實飛往多哈的航班 。在日本效力的中後衛塔比納斯則因日本境內的疫情 ，尚未獲準離開 。此外 ，還有兩名在泰國效力的球員也同樣未能趕赴多哈 。至於在瑞典效力的後衛尼霍爾姆 ，則因傷病缺席聯賽。他能否會趕到多哈也是未知數 。
