北京時間1月17日，克森據《鏡報》報道 ，冬窗熱刺並沒有加入對埃裏克森的重返追求之中 ，盡管他們的热刺主帥孔蒂希望在冬窗能夠有所收獲 。
熱刺目前在英超積分榜上排名第6 ，英媒已断但相對於已經完賽22輪的前缘領頭羊曼城等球隊而言 ，熱刺隻踢了18輪，难再他們比第5的埃里阿森納少賽2場隻落後2分 ，比第4的克森西漢姆少賽4場隻落後4分 ，甚至目前排名第3的冬窗切爾西 ，熱刺比藍軍落後了10分，重返但他們也少賽了4場 。热刺
