在巴薩4-1輕取韋斯卡之戰中 ，主裁科德羅在上半場結束前吹了巴薩一個點球。莫名穆帅科德羅的其妙這次極有爭議性的判罰，不但惹怒了巴薩上下 ，点球而且連裁判專家們都看不下去了 。刚体《阿斯報》和《馬卡報》的验相裁判專家，都明確指出這是离谱個典型的錯判 。
在反擊中 ，巴萨被判韋斯卡中鋒米爾接到隊友右路橫傳 ，莫名穆帅他在前點來了個右腳推射 。其妙結果米爾莫名其妙踢空 ，点球皮球滾出底線 。刚体在米爾完成這次射門之後 ，验相他與出擊的离谱特爾施特根發生了輕微的身體接觸 。特獅的左臂輕輕碰到了米爾的腿部，米爾摔出了底線 。主裁科德羅立刻吹罰點球 ，VAR裁判也沒有對此提出異議。這次判罰 ，與昨日熱刺比賽中備受穆帥指責的點球非常相似 。
科德羅的這次判罰，實在是令人不解 。一來兩人在發生身體接觸時，米爾已經完成了射門 ，他已經沒有任何進球可能性了 。二來兩人身體接觸幅度非常小 ，完全沒達到吹點球的程度。在米爾點球破門之後，科德羅立刻鳴哨結束上半場 。科曼直接找科德羅抱怨：“這不是點球 ，你為什麽不去看VAR？”在賽後接受采訪時 ，科曼再次強調“這不是個點球” 。
《馬卡報》專家奧利弗對於科德羅的這一吹罰感到無法理解 ：“這絕對不是個犯規。這吹點球的話 ，證據不足 。VAR裁判梅萊羅-洛佩斯，難道就沒對主裁判說什麽嗎？”
《阿斯報》專家伊圖拉爾德更是直接把主裁和VAR裁判一起批評一頓 ：“絕不 ，這絕不是點球 。雖然有身體接觸 ，但門將並沒有故意要絆倒前鋒 。足球本來就有身體接觸 ，在任何時候 ，這都不是個點球 。米爾那樣高速衝過來 ，如果門將真要絆倒他 ，那他會摔得非常慘。VAR不僅僅是來幫助裁判的，而且是來幫助足球的 ，VAR不是用來給裁判的誤判找借口的 。所以我認為，這是個錯判 。”
