上周六 ，姆比原申花球員姆比亞在個人社交媒體上上傳了自己身穿武漢隊隊服 ，亚自在武漢體育中心的宣回西甲健身房進行訓練的視頻。這也預示著喀麥隆人將再次加盟武漢隊 ，归武果再征戰新賽季的汉曾回中中超聯賽 。

上個賽季結束後 ，宣回西甲上海申花與姆比亞的归武果再合同到期，後者也成為了自由身 ，汉曾回中這位去年在後防線上表現不錯的队接外援 ，最終沒能與申花再度牽手。触未超而俱樂部選擇了在亞洲聯賽效力多年的姆比約尼奇 ，克羅地亞人將作為新賽季的主力外援中後衛。在與申花談判未果後，姆比亞的經紀人團隊也和西甲方麵的球隊有過接觸 ，此前西班牙媒體《阿斯報》報道 ，埃爾切已經敲定了姆比亞的加盟 。不過同樣是雙方沒有談好合同 ，最終未能牽手。彼時 ，姆比亞又受到了來自中超的邀約 ，邀請他加盟的球隊正是他老東家之一的武漢隊 。
在2019賽季 ，姆比亞就曾效力於武漢 ，那一年姆比亞代表武漢出場了24次 ，表現穩定 ，當武漢隊受到傷病潮影響時 ，喀麥隆人成了球隊拿分的保障 。據報道 ，當時同樣是因為雙方的合同沒有達成一致 ，姆比亞選擇了投奔上海 。
如果姆比亞能順利回歸武漢隊 ，那麽武漢隊的外援陣容也將正式敲定，姆比亞或將與拉斐爾 、巴普蒂斯唐 、埃弗拉和卡裏索一起征戰下個賽季的中超聯賽 。
