但是麵對著萊萬領銜的攻擊線 ，什克卻獲得了完勝 ，在他的帶領下 ，斯洛伐克沒有給萊萬任何機會 ，使得這位上個賽季打入41個俱樂部進球的神射手無法取得進球 。另外 ，從數據上看 ，什克也非常完美的完成了比賽 。他全場比賽94%的傳球成功率 ，4次對抗成功 、3次回搶 ，3次攔截 ，2次封堵 ，同時全場比賽共有10次解圍 ，他也成為了本屆歐洲杯開戰以來第一位在單場比賽中解圍次數來到10次的球員 。
除了在防守端鎖死萊萬，在進攻端的什克也做出了貢獻 ，在波蘭扳平比分後，什克在禁區內中路得球後稍作調整 ，一腳抽射得分 ，而這個進球也使得斯洛伐克最終擊敗了波蘭 。
