當地時間6月11日晚9點 ，国足北京時間12日淩晨1點 ，对阵代夫点中國隊將在阿聯酋沙迦體育場迎來卡塔爾世預賽亞洲區40強賽A組後半程倒數第2個對手 ，敲定馬爾代夫隊 。约旦已掌北京時間6月10日 ，裁判亞足聯裁判部門確認 ，主哨由來自約旦的握执艾哈邁德·法伊薩勒·穆哈邁德·阿拉裏（Ahmed·Faisal·Mohammad·Alali）擔任本場比賽的主裁判 。相比於執法國足前兩輪比賽的法特泰國籍主裁西瓦功 、韓國籍主裁金希坤 ，国足阿拉裏對中國球迷而言有些陌生。对阵代夫点不過由於對手相對較弱 ，敲定中國隊不必為裁判因素所牽絆 ，约旦已掌而應全力以赴全取3分 。裁判
雖然國足所在的主哨40強賽A組餘下比賽移至阿聯酋沙迦舉行 ，但由於在此之前亞足聯已完成了對各組賽事的握执裁判員選派工作 ，因此參與本組執法工作的14名裁判員（6名主裁判、8名助理裁判員）也隨中國隊一同乘坐保級由上海抵達阿聯酋迪拜 ，並進駐沙迦賽區 。
中國隊在過去兩輪比賽中取得兩連勝 ，且未失1球。作為中國足壇的“熟臉兒”，泰國籍主裁西瓦功、韓國籍主裁金希坤在這兩場國足比賽中執法工作總體公正 ，並沒有出現刻意刁難中國隊的情況發生 。
北京時間10日，亞足聯方麵傳來的信息顯示 。來自約旦的阿拉裏將確認執法當地時間11日晚國足與馬爾代夫隊的比賽。阿拉裏相對來說 ，執法中國球隊比賽的場次要少於上述兩位外籍裁判 。已知信息顯示 ，他曾作為第2附加助理裁判員（底線裁判）身份執法過2019賽季亞冠聯賽半決賽第2回合廣州恒大隊VS日本浦和紅鑽的比賽 ，當時的主裁判是著名伊朗籍裁判員法加尼 。
在此之前 ，阿拉裏曾經執法過40強賽A組馬爾代夫隊與菲律賓隊的比賽。因此 ，對於他的執法特點，中國隊也通過各類信息收集有所掌握。麵對實力相對較弱的馬爾代夫隊 ，中國隊取勝並不是問題 。對球隊而言 ，調整好心態，理性對待裁判員判罰也是非常有必要的 。
