北京時間11月30日淩晨，佩德2021年金球獎頒獎典禮 ，奖感巴塞羅那新星佩德裏憑借著今年出色的言感表現 ，榮膺象征著世界最佳年輕球員的谢梅西梅西台下笑科帕獎 。在拿到科帕獎的得像獎杯後，佩德裏發表獲獎感言 ，个老並提到了梅西 ，父亲稱他給予自己的佩德幫助非常大 。
整個2021年，奖感佩德裏成為世界足壇最閃耀的言感新星 ，他在國家隊和俱樂部都發揮出色 ，谢梅西梅西台下笑尤其是得像國字號球隊 ，他幫助西班牙殺進歐洲杯四強 ，个老同時參加了東京奧運會 ，父亲堪稱勞模先生 。佩德遺憾的是，進入2021-2022賽季，佩德裏傷病增多 ，缺席了不少比賽，但這並不會遮掩他今年耀眼的光芒 。早些時候，佩德裏獲得了由意大利媒體《都靈體育報》頒發的金童獎 ，如今又拿到了《法國足球》頒發的科帕獎 。
在獲得科帕獎後，佩德裏發表獲獎感言 ，“不久前，我剛剛度過了19歲生日 ，這座獎杯（科帕獎）顯然是最好的禮物了 。借此機會 ，我想要感謝巴塞羅那俱樂部以及那些每天都在幫助我的人們 ，尤其是隊長們，正如上賽季的梅西 。我要感謝俱樂部和梅西 ，感謝他們在我加盟巴塞羅那之初為幫助我所做的一切 。無論在場上 ，還是場下 ，梅西都幫了我很多 ，我對於從他身上所學到的一切深表感激 。”
在佩德裏發表獲獎感言感謝梅西時 ，在台下的阿根廷球王笑了 ，一副老父親的表情 ，非常的欣慰。
