北京時間7月4日晚消息，官方英超勁旅水晶宮官方宣布新帥上任 ，维埃他們與法國傳奇維埃拉簽下了一份截至2024年的拉出執教合約 。
水晶宮上賽季排名聯賽第14位，任水主教練霍奇森在4年的晶宫合約到期後並沒有選擇續約 。現年45歲的新帅維埃拉曾效力於AC米蘭 、阿森納 、合同尤文圖斯 、签约國際米蘭 、至年曼城等俱樂部 。官方維埃拉在退役之後開啟了執教生涯 ，维埃他先後執教過曼城青年隊、拉出紐約城和尼斯 。任水去年12月時，晶宫維埃拉離開尼斯 ，新帅在他執教尼斯的兩個完整賽季裏 ，球隊先後獲得第七名和第五名 ，並獲得了歐聯杯的參賽資格 。不過 ，去年年底尼斯跌至聯賽中遊 ，這導致維埃拉被解雇 。
