拉齊奧通過官方網站宣布 ，小因紮吉卸任主帥一職 。藍鷹在公告中表示：“我們尊重主教練重新考慮未來後的決定 ，尤其是對於這樣一位多年來都將他的名字與拉齊奧大家庭和俱樂部成功的聯係在一起的運動員和教練 。”可以看出，拉齊奧在公告中甚至沒有提到小因紮吉的名字 ，而這主要是因為小因紮吉原本即將與拉齊奧續約，但他突然改變了注意 ，這讓拉齊奧方麵非常不滿 。
拉齊奧主席洛蒂托對此表示 ：“我個人感覺很失望 ，他在一夜之間改變了主意 。他的合同甚至都準備好了 ，我已經簽了字 ，他隻要聯係秘書履行簽約程序就可以了 ，但他並沒有這麽做 。他告訴我他在睡了一覺之後堅定了離隊的信念 ，我們在一起度過了7個小時 ，已經達成了協議 ，我們甚至都握了手。他說他不再有激情 ，已經無法向球員傳到正確的意見 。都已經說了這樣的話了，你說還怎麽留下他 ？當然，如果他在前一天晚上說出這些話，我就不會準備簽約協議了 。”
意大利全市場表示 ，小因紮吉之所以離開拉齊奧 ，與藍鷹在談判中降低了原先承諾的薪水有關 。據悉 ，洛蒂托此前承諾小因紮吉年薪為280萬歐元 ，但之後降低到了220萬歐元 。迪馬濟奧表示 ，小因紮吉即將成為國際米蘭主帥 ，藍黑軍團會在當地時間周五宣布這一消息 。消息稱 ，雙方會簽約2年，小因紮吉的年薪為400萬歐元 。
