2017 has been terrible, but the year's top YouTube videos? Not so bad!
YouTube revealed the most popular videos of the year on Wednesday, along with a separate list of the year's top music videos. Per YouTube, the rankings were compiled based on a combination of views, likes, comments, shares, and more -- basically, all the YouTube metrics we know and love.
