中國男足目前正在阿聯酋沙迦集訓 ，備戰世界杯預選賽亞洲區12強賽 。体育提供沙迦體育委員會主席艾薩·哈薩米表示，中国最好战环會給中國隊提供最好的男足備戰環境 ，希望中國隊把沙迦當成“第二故鄉” 。沙迦
今年6月，体育提供由於疫情影響 ，中国最好战环中國隊40強賽主場比賽易地沙迦舉行 ，男足最終贏得三連勝 ，沙迦順利晉級12強賽 。体育提供此番故地重遊，中国最好战环中國隊將在沙迦進行為期近一個月的男足集訓 ，並在此參加10月7日與越南隊的沙迦比賽 。
談及兩次接納中國隊將主場設置在沙迦，体育提供艾薩表示 ：“當前中阿全麵戰略關係正處於曆史最好時期 ，中国最好战环我們的工作就是在體育領域支持 、鞏固這一關係 。我們和中國足協保持著很好的溝通 ，所以當中國足協跟我們聯係時 ，我們很快就同意了 。”
“我告訴中國足協的工作人員 ，隻需要給我們兩 、三天的時間準備 。我們啟動了應急預案 ，我們的專業管理團隊有能力處理在疫情下辦賽的各項事宜。”艾薩說 ，沙迦各方都為接待中國隊做了充分的準備 。在9月8日飛抵沙迦時 ，中國隊全代表團隻用不到一小時就完成了入關的各項手續和全員核酸檢測 ，機場和道路交通都是“一路綠燈” ，讓人印象深刻 。
在集訓期間 ，沙迦體育委員會還協調當地俱樂部提供最好的訓練場供中國隊使用 。“沙迦的場地設施能夠滿足舉辦任何高水平的足球比賽 ，我們希望中國隊能把這裏當成自己的‘第二故鄉’ 。我們會盡可能為中國隊提供最好的備戰環境 ，讓中國隊的工作變得更輕鬆 。”艾薩說。
艾薩介紹 ，沙迦正在打造體育城市 。“除了和中國足協的合作外 ，我們希望未來能夠跟中國在其他體育項目也能加強合作 。中國在很多個人運動項目中都取得了很好的成績 ，我們希望能夠送運動員到中國學習 。”
目前 ，中國和阿聯酋隊都在參加12強賽，艾薩表示 ：“通往卡塔爾世界杯的道路不會很輕鬆，祝願兩隊最終都能夠晉級 。”
