中超降薪已經成為大勢所趨 ，津媒交不過中國足協至今都沒有推出限薪新政 ，足协制执這也意味著 ，未强中超各隊的行降薪令薪水降薪工作 ，將徹底交給市場 。高低
此前有消息顯示 ，市场中國足協計劃推行降薪新政 ，调控將本土球員的津媒交頂薪降到稅前300萬元，外援頂薪降到稅前200萬歐元 。足协制执不過隨著新的未强轉會窗口打開 ，中國足協沒有公布這樣的行降薪令薪水政策 ，這意味著中超俱樂部可以按照此前的高低政策和球員簽訂新的合同 。
目前 ，市场中超俱樂部存在大麵積欠薪的调控情況，中國足協一方麵開始正視這個問題 ，津媒交另一方麵也決定將球員的薪水高低徹底交給市場調控 。此前包括武漢隊在內的一些俱樂部已經開始推行限薪政策，有些球員無法接受 ，雙方最終隻能解約 。
如果中國足協繼續推出新的降薪政策 ，將會把本土球員和外援的薪資待遇降到一個非常低的水平，這無疑會給中超轉會市場造成消極影響 ，也會大大限製更高水平球員登陸中超的積極性 。目前中超要做的就是平穩起步，如果再度強行降薪的話 ，效果可能並不好 。
對於中國足協來說 ，目前最困難的工作其實還是聯賽資格的準入，因為大部分俱樂部都存在欠薪的狀況。這種情況下 ，保障球員拿到欠薪 ，還能維持中超聯賽的穩定性 ，的確不是一件容易事 。
