而據《體壇周報》消息，廖力生的此次左膝前交叉韌帶重傷 ，暫時並不影響站立和走路，但從醫學角度來講，越是如此就越很讓人擔憂 。之前在廣州時 ，廖力生曾結識到一位當地的運動康複專家 。按照擬定的計劃 ，他將在下周二（4日），啟程再赴廣州予以深度診斷 。而現在能夠帶來的一線希望，在於濟南和廣州拍片結果的差異 ，但據介紹 ，一旦確認是斷裂而非撕裂 ，恐怕就不隻是出國接受手術，以致本賽季提前報銷 。以吳興涵的養傷經曆作為參考 ，倘若果真如此 ，作為中國國家隊12強賽最後兩輪主力中場的廖力生 ，或許想要趕上明年6月的亞洲杯都有一些困難。
本賽季廖力生共代表泰山隊出戰14場 ，貢獻了1個進球 。
