一天前 ，战友总经曾在國安效力過的国安高中鋒王濤因心梗猝然離世，享年52歲 ，将派足球圈對於這樣一位名宿的代表悼離去感到十分悲傷。而在當晚北京國安與河南嵩山龍門的参加比賽之後，國安俱樂部上下的小王惜舉動則表明這是一家有溫度的球隊 ，不會忘記曾經在這裏留下過足跡 、涛追貢獻過力量的理李球員 。如果防疫條件允許的明扼話 ，國安俱樂部計劃將派魏克興作為代表 ，腕叹前往大連參加8日一早的难舍追悼儀式 。
國安與嵩山龍門賽後的战友总经新聞發布會上 ，主帥斯坦利在點評比賽之前，国安先說了這樣一番話 ：“首先我想說，将派我們得知國安曆史上一名很有名的球員王濤 ，我們永遠失去了他 ，所以首先向他的家人表示慰問 。”而在比賽結束後一小時 ，國安俱樂部也在官方微博發文對於王濤的離世表示悼念 ，球隊這樣寫道：“今天的勝利同樣獻給曾經為北京國安戰鬥過的王濤 ，感謝你曾經為這支球隊和這座城市的付出 ，我們不會忘記一起走過的歲月和你身穿綠色戰袍的30個進球 ，願天堂也有足球常伴左右 。”
的確，作為曾經為北京足球貢獻過力量的球員 ，國安自然不會忘記 。數據統計顯示 ，小王濤共為國安在聯賽出場54次 ，打進25球 ，足協杯出場15次 ，攻入5球 。各項賽事共計69次出場 ，打進30個球 。這對於當時已經年過而立之年的他來說，是個非常不錯的成績 ，即便是放眼現在的中國足壇 ，小王濤這種高效率的中鋒也是不可多得的人才 。
正因如此 ，各界對小王濤的英年早逝感到十分痛惜 。曾經和他在國安做過隊友的南方和韓旭都在朋友圈表達了哀悼之情 ，而同樣作為大連人的北京國安俱樂部總經理李明 ，則更是對於失去這樣一位好友而扼腕歎惜 。李明這樣寫道：“驚聞噩耗！從小一起長大的隊友好兄弟王濤離世 ，悲傷 ！”李明表示 ，作為從小一起踢球 ，一起長大的隊友 ，他沒想到王濤會突然間離開 ，這讓他非常痛心 。而其他曾經和小王濤做過隊友甚至做過對手的球員 ，也都通過自己的方式 ，向他表示哀悼 ，並向其家人表達了慰問 。
其實周四下午國安俱樂部就了解到有關小王濤突發疾病的消息 ，盡管當天下午就陸續有一些消息傳出 ，但由於那和事實不符 ，因此俱樂部方麵並沒有做出跟進的回應 。周五中午，當國安收到他已經離世的不幸消息時 ，俱樂部管理層決定無論當晚比賽的結果如何 ，都會在官方平台上紀念這位球隊曾經的高中鋒 。更令人感到欣慰的是 ，外籍主帥斯坦利在得知此事之後 ，也希望通過自己的方式表達哀悼 ，這也就有了荷蘭人在發布會開始時的那段表述 。
由於小王濤是在其他城市離世，因此他的遺體5日將被運送回家鄉大連 ，8日一早舉行告別儀式 。據了解 ，如果防疫形勢允許的話 ，國安俱樂部計劃派魏克興前往大連參加小王濤的告別儀式 。球隊方麵也已經準備好儀式所用的相關物品，其中也包括專門代表球迷們獻上的花圈 ，以此表達對於這位名將的哀悼 。
