英倫鳴哨克拉滕伯格 ，則認為這個點球屬於可判可不判的灰色地帶 ：“對於斯特林來說 ，邁赫勒的確與他有輕微的身體接觸 。我認為在這麽關鍵的時刻 ，這種接觸並不足以判罰點球。丹麥人會認為這過於苛刻，但話說回來，這又不是個明顯的錯誤判決 。”
