1月29日 ，2023年澳大利亞網球公開賽男單決賽落下帷幕 ，35歲的塞爾維亞天王德約科維奇直落三盤 ，以6-3 、7-6（4） 、7-6（5）擊敗24歲的希臘新星西西帕斯 ，贏得個人第十座澳網冠軍。同時 ，這也是德約科維奇的第22座大滿貫男單冠軍，他追平了36歲的西班牙“紅土之王”納達爾 ，並列男子網壇曆史第一。他也成為繼納達爾之後曆史上第二位在單項大滿貫賽事至少10次奪冠的男子網球運動員 ，其澳網10冠僅次於納達爾的法網14冠 。另外，德約科維奇繼續擴大了由自己保持的30歲以後奪得大滿貫冠軍次數的曆史紀錄（公開賽年代以來），以10次領先於納達爾的8次 。
