C羅在今夏轉會離開尤文的可能性越來越大 ，多家媒體透露C羅將重返英超加盟曼城 。过沟而《獨立報》則透露，通万C羅已經和曼城談妥了個人合同，镑周他在曼城的薪仅周薪僅為25萬英鎊 ，遠低於此前的城队預測 。
據《獨立報》報道 ，内第C羅已經和曼城主帥瓜迪奧拉進行了溝通 ，已瓜了解了自己如果加盟可以在隊內扮演怎樣的过沟角色 。C羅和曼城俱樂部也原則上談妥了個人合同條款，通万他轉會的镑周唯一阻礙是曼城和尤文兩家俱樂部之間還需要就C羅的轉會費達成協議 。
《獨立報》稱 ，薪仅如果C羅轉會加盟曼城 ，城队他將獲得一份25萬英鎊周薪的内第合同 ，這比此前媒體和球迷們猜測的已瓜薪水低了很多。之前《阿斯報》 、《太陽報》等媒體均表示 ，C羅在曼城可以獲得51萬英鎊周薪 ，是隊內的第一高薪。但如果像《獨立報》所說的那樣C羅隻能拿到25萬英鎊周薪 ，那麽他在曼城的薪水榜隻能排名第三 ，落後德布勞內（38.5萬）和斯特林（30萬） 。
C羅的經紀人門德斯在本周三晚已經抵達都靈 ，試圖和尤文就球員的離隊進行談判 。尤文原則上同意出售C羅 ，因為他們希望可以降低球隊的薪水開支 。不過 ，曼城隻想免費簽下C羅 ，而尤文則要求獲得一定的轉會費 ，大約是2400萬至2550萬英鎊 ，或者讓曼城提供一名球員交換C羅 。
