25天9場比賽的泰山密集賽程終於要畫上一個句號 。8月11日，欲夺中超聯賽第14輪 ，连胜山東泰山隊對陣滄州雄獅 ，锁头伤病這是名郝第一階段的收官戰 ，泰山隊隻要拿到3分 ，伟希望国就可以鎖定第一階段的出现第一名 。賽前，泰山郝偉和鄭錚出席發布會 ，欲夺兩人明確表態就是连胜要拿3分 ，爭取5連勝為第一階段畫上句號 。锁头伤病
前13輪聯賽，名郝泰山隊取得9勝3平1負的伟希望国成績 ，積30分 ，出现在廣州賽區領跑 。泰山滄州雄獅2勝4平7負 ，積10分 ，排名廣州賽區第7位 。兩隊首回合交手 ，泰山隊2比0擊敗滄州雄獅 ，那場比賽滄州隻安排單外援奧斯卡首發，穆裏奇 、蘇祖和桑戈爾替補登場 ，艾哈邁多夫並未出戰 。如今再次交手 ，滄州的外援陣容更為齊整 ，艾哈邁多夫可以出戰 ，這對滄州的中場是個提升 ，上輪聯賽 ，滄州2比1擊敗深圳 ，士氣有所回升。
對於泰山隊來說 ，對陣滄州的目標依然是拿到3分 ，因為第一階段的分數要帶入第二階段爭冠組 ，泰山隊還是要全力搶分。隻要泰山隊拿到3分 ，就可以確保第一階段排名第一 ，擁有選擇賽區的權利，按照主帥郝偉的計劃 ，泰山隊將會繼續留在廣州賽區，征戰12月份的中超聯賽。
談到這場和滄州雄獅的比賽 ，郝偉坦言 ：“賽區最後一場比賽 ，希望隊伍可以專注比賽 ，拿到三分 。”鄭錚談到比賽時也表示 ：“我們全力以赴 ，爭取勝利 ，完成第一階段最後一場比賽 。”
本輪比賽結束後，國腳短暫休整後就要開啟世預賽備戰 ，有記者提到是否給國腳更多休息時間 ，對此郝偉直言希望國家隊隊員不要出現傷病情況，可以好好準備世預賽的比賽 。鄭錚談到這個話題時也表示先打好眼前的比賽 ，做好自己 ，如果入選國家隊 ，也是積極調整狀態。
從陣容選擇看 ，泰山隊現有人員儲備豐富 ，隻剩下一輪聯賽的情況下 ，郝偉可以安排最強陣容出戰滄州雄獅 ，確保可以拿到3分。泰山隊的部分主力的確是體能到了極限 ，但這種情況下還是要咬牙堅持 ，其實每支球隊的情況都一樣 ，就看誰能拚到最後 。當然，泰山隊還是有輪換調整的空間 ，郝偉也可以根據球員的身體狀況 ，做出適當輪換 。
