歐洲當地時間5月12日 ，欧足歐足聯官方發表聲明：未來將針對至今仍然沒有退出“歐洲超級聯賽”的联官律调皇家馬德裏 、巴塞羅那和尤文圖斯三家俱樂部展開紀律調查 。皇萨
歐足聯的文展公告中寫道 ：“根據《歐足聯紀律條款》第31條第4款的規定 ，歐足聯將正式指派道德和紀律工作專員 ，开纪就皇家馬德裏 、查结巴塞羅那和尤文圖斯在所謂的果择‘超級聯賽’項目中可能違反歐盟法律框架下的行為進行紀律調查 。有關此項目的欧足信息將在合適的時候公布 。”
此前歐足聯被曝將處罰皇馬 、联官律调巴薩和尤文圖斯的皇萨草案提交給了執委會和紀律部門 ，其他9家曾經宣布參加歐洲超級聯賽並且最終退出的文展俱樂部將得到歐足聯的赦免 ，即使有追加處罰也可能隻是开纪罰款而已 。但歐洲媒體多次披露歐足聯將針對皇馬、查结巴薩和尤文圖斯進行歐戰禁賽2年的果择處分 。
