上周日希茨到醫院捐獻了自己的胞拯造血幹細胞，希茨在社交媒體上發布了自己在醫院的生白照片 ，並表示 ：“我有自己的血病家庭和孩子 ，如果想象我的多特某個家人患有白血病，那麽我將非常感謝配對適合的蒙德门捐助者 。在這種背景下 ，主力當我被告知我是捐献救陌一個白血病患者的合適捐助者時，我當然願意幫助對方 。干细整個捐獻過程很輕鬆 ，胞拯說實話 ，生白根本不值一提 。”
現年33歲的希茨是一位瑞士門將 ，2008年加盟沃爾夫斯堡 ，隨隊獲得過德甲冠軍 。希茨在2013年轉投奧格斯堡 ，2018年又轉會加盟多特蒙德 ，本賽季他是多特蒙德的主力門將 ，已經在各項賽事中為球隊出場26次 。就在上周六希茨還為球隊首發出場 ，幫助多特蒙德在德甲聯賽客場2-0戰勝了沃爾夫斯堡 。而在比賽後僅僅一天 ，希茨就去捐贈了造血幹細胞 。
事實上，早在希茨為沃爾夫斯堡踢球時 ，他就自願注冊成為了造血幹細胞的捐贈者，隻是直到上周才有患者和他成功配對後 ，而希茨也毫不猶豫地進行了捐贈 。在上個月 ，多特蒙德已經和希茨續約兩年，下賽季他有望繼續擔任球隊的主力門將 。
