當地時間12日 ，无缘日本隊在對陣澳大利亞隊的日本比賽當中 ，首發出場的队遭队内大迫勇也在下半場10分鍾的時候在球門前與對手發生了碰撞，此後雖然繼續堅持比賽 ，遇伤月强但是病潮他的右大腿似乎有所不適 ，最終在下半場第16分鍾因傷被古橋亨梧換下 。主力
目前關於大迫勇也的恐仍具體傷勢沒有細節對外透露 ，但是无缘他可能會因此無緣當地時間11月11日日本對陣越南、當地時間11月16日日本對陣阿曼隊的日本比賽，這兩場日本都是客場比賽 。
此外據外國媒體《Ultima Ora》報道 ，飽受膝蓋手術困擾的久保健英還需要繼續拄拐杖。在當地時間9月22日對陣皇馬的西甲比賽中 ，久保建英右膝受傷離場，並且因此錯過了本月的12強賽 。球隊主教練路易斯-加西亞表示 ：“久保健英預計還需要一個半月到兩個月的恢複時間 。”如果最多需要2個月的話 ，久保建英將會在12月中旬複出 ，他也肯定會錯過11月份的兩場世預賽。
