北京時間8月15日 ，申花赛制中超的代理丢一場關鍵補賽中 ，北京國安4-2戰勝上海申花 ，主帅争冠由於另外一場比賽中河北隊1-1戰平武漢隊 ，个球最終上海申花遺憾地被淘汰出爭冠組 。太快
賽後代理主帥毛毅軍表示 ：“球隊過早丟球 ，无缘16分鍾就丟了三個球，申花赛制使的代理丢比賽非常困難 ，丟球之後做了調整 ，主帅争冠也有改觀 ，个球感謝隊員始終沒有放棄，太快一直在努力拚搏，无缘他們已經盡力了 。申花赛制”
有記者問毛毅軍 ，代理丢丟球這麽快是主帅争冠不是球員心理出了問題 ，毛毅軍表示 ：“不能這麽說 ，回去還要好好總結一下 ，中場休息也跟隊員講了 ，這就是足球 ，既然已經落後了 ，就要去麵對，調整回來 ，這三個球丟得太快 ，想扳回也很難。”
對於接下來的比賽 ，毛毅軍表示 ：“由於賽製的關係 ，無緣爭冠 ，但我們隊還是會認真麵對每一場比賽 ，每一個賽事，把比賽去打好。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
