明天，曝吴申花將在康橋基地集中，金贵将回教练備戰2022賽季 。归申隨著隊伍的花出重新集結 ，球隊的任主新任主教練也即將浮出水麵，他很可能是动荡老熟人吳金貴 。
從目前的时期情況看 ，吳金貴確實是面临最為合適的人選。他幾進幾出申花 ，诸多對於球隊非常熟悉和了解 。挑战吳金貴上一次執教申花是曝吴2017年，當時波耶特因為戰績不佳辭職 ，金贵将回教练吳金貴出任“救火教練” 。归申當年年底 ，花出他率領球隊在不被看好的任主情況下力壓同城對手海港（當時的上港） ，奪得了足協杯冠軍。
上個賽季 ，吳金貴執教青島隊戰績不佳，但這跟青島俱樂部本身所存在的問題有著很大的關係。俱樂部長期欠薪 ，隊伍很難形成凝聚力和戰鬥力 。2021年12月13日 ，吳金貴辭去青島隊主教練一職。
如果再次執掌申花教鞭 ，吳金貴麵臨著不少挑戰 。上賽季聯賽第二階段開始 ，申花開始著重鍛煉和培養年輕隊員，所以新賽季蔣聖龍、劉若釩 、周俊辰等外租的年輕隊員大概率會回歸球隊，球隊麵臨著新老交替 。根據中國足協的總體要求以及俱樂部的現實情況 ，新賽季申花必然會壓縮總體投入 ，不可能再像往年那樣大力度的引援 ，新賽季到底能有幾名外援目前也還是未知數 ，所以吳金貴屆時恐怕更多地還是要依靠內部挖潛 。
1月3日結束與河南嵩山龍門的2021賽季中超聯賽最後一輪比賽後，申花進入了冬歇期 ，至今已長達近兩個月 。此前 ，申花計劃2月16日收假 ，但由於新賽季中超最早要4月底才能開賽等原因 ，申花將收假時間推遲到了3月1日 。
