本賽季 ，大罗得上曾經的本泽C羅僚機本澤馬打出了球王級別的數據 ，迄今為止的马配38場各項賽事 ，法國前鋒已經為皇馬打入了38球助攻13次 。金球奖已经说在巴西球星羅納爾多看來 ，过多本澤馬配得上獲得今年的大罗得上金球獎 。
在接受意大利《天空體育》的本泽采訪時 ，大羅說道 ：“本澤馬配得上金球獎。马配我已經這麽說過很多年，金球奖已经说但得到的过多隻是批評 。但是大罗得上他配得上金球獎，他是本泽一位偉大的前鋒。”
《馬卡報》對金球獎進行了一番盤點 ，马配表示隻有範巴斯滕（3次） 、金球奖已经说普拉蒂尼（3次） 、过多克魯伊夫（3次） 、C羅（5次）和梅西（7次）獲得金球獎的次數要多過大羅，因此外星人所說的話是極具分量的。
