在2-0領先的啥总啥为啥情況下，朗尼克選擇將C羅換下 。被换但總裁顯然對此非常不解且不滿，下后在回到替補席後先是嘟囔直接將外套扔在地上 ，然後又是啥总啥为啥坐在那裏嘴裏喋喋不休 。C羅究竟在說啥？被换《進球網》給出了後續的報道 。
《進球網》表示 ，下后C羅當時的嘟囔確是在抱怨朗尼克 ，“為什麽是啥总啥为啥我？為什麽是我 ？為什麽你把我換下來 ？”而在那之後 ，朗尼克還專門來到C羅身邊 ，被换安撫曼聯的下后當家球星。
賽後 ，嘟囔朗尼克也對這次風波給出了回應 ，“一名前鋒想要進球，這很正常 。但是他剛從一次小的傷病中回歸 ，並且重要的一點是 ，我們即將迎來另一場重要的比賽。我唯一注意到的 ，是他在質問我‘為什麽是我？’而我的回答是 ，我需要從球隊的角度做決定。”
朗尼克繼續說道 ：“我沒有期待著他在被換下後會給我一個擁抱 。我對克裏斯蒂亞諾沒有意見 ，他剛從傷病中回歸 ，並且有一周半的時間沒有訓練 。為什麽我不該使用替補席的球員呢 ？”
