在接受手術之前 ，醫生還針對法蒂的病情實施了新的治療方案 。來自《RAC1》的消息稱 ，采取新的治療方案之後 ，這位年輕球員反應良好 。報道稱 ，如果這一情況持續下去 ，那麽法蒂可以避免再一次動手術 。
需要指出的是 ，一旦法蒂可以避免手術 ，就會避免被摘除半月板 。此前不少頂級運動巨星因為摘除半月板之後，狀態還有競技能力大大下滑 。托雷斯就進行過半月板切除手術 。沒切半月板之前的托雷斯奔跑速度奇快 ，經常一個急停變向就能晃開對方球員 。做了這個手術後，托雷斯身體機能大不如前 ，再也無法風馳電掣地進行全力奔跑 。
