比賽中 ，恭喜當值主裁給了米蘭一個點球機會，说别隨後又將米蘭大將特奧紅牌罰下。不能场對於裁判的穆帅米兰判罰 ，媒體希望穆帥能夠給出一點他的只说觀點 。不過這樣的恭喜請求卻被拒絕了，“恭喜米蘭 ，说别我不想再說別的不能场了 ，否則下周我可能沒法在場邊指揮 。”
與此同時 ，穆帥也直言不諱地表示，這場比賽羅馬眾將士表現得並不好 ，“我們對羅馬球迷缺乏尊重，我很憤怒。我們踢得不好，但我們把一切都留在場上 。我們有這種尊重，但其他人未必 ，這讓我很生氣 ，這就是全部 。”
有意思的是 ，根據媒體的報道 ，穆裏尼奧說完以上發言後就衝出了球場 。雖然說穆帥隨後也參加了賽後的新聞發布會 ，但在發布會上 ，穆帥也僅僅隻說了一些類似的內容 ，隻加了一句“我努力了 ，沒有等裁判” 。
