隨後 ，英格蘭球迷發起了歐洲杯決賽重賽的請願 ，剛開始的時候，這份請願隻有6個人簽字 。但目前情況已經完全不同 ，《羅馬體育報》稱網站上其中一個請願為 ：“2021年7月11日的歐洲杯決賽根本不公正。意大利球員踢的很髒 ，基耶利尼拽倒薩卡應該被處以紅牌 ，重賽應該讓公平的裁判來執法 。”而這條請願已經有接近15萬人簽字 。
