7月8日 ，亚足异中运名亞足聯通過官網對中國女足東京奧運會比賽陣容作出了點評 ，联诧並直言 ，国女“馬君、足奥中唐佳麗、单人婁佳慧等球員的名陌落選令人詫異” 。
7月7日 ，生面中國足協通過官方渠道公布了中國女足出征東京奧運會的亚足异中运名22人球員名單 。令人意外的联诧是 ，馬君 、国女唐佳麗 、足奥中婁佳慧 、单人姚偉幾名曾經參加奧預賽附加賽中 、名陌韓比賽的生面球員未能入選 。在4人之中 ，亚足异中运名馬君甚至作為隊長參加了與韓國隊的附加賽第2回合“生死戰” 。
亞足聯官網8日以“鏗鏘玫瑰東京奧運會名單出人意料”為題 ，表達了對中國女足奧運會名單人選的詫異之情 。
亞足聯稱，“在中國女足22人中，有4人是陌生的麵孔 。還有5人的國際比賽經曆不足5場。另有幾位新人從來沒有國際比賽出場經曆 ，她們是門將丁璿、中場王妍雯 、劉靖 、前鋒烏日古木拉 。”
不過亞足聯同時表示 ，雖然名單令人驚訝 ，但主教練賈秀全仍將大部分主力征調入隊 。比如後防中堅吳海燕、前鋒王霜 、王珊珊 、門將彭詩夢等 。
本次東京奧運會 ，中國女足同組對手分別是荷蘭女足、巴西女足和讚比亞女足 。中國女足本屆賽事首戰將於7月21日打響。
