丹麥對陣芬蘭的穆里比賽中 ，埃裏克森突然倒地 ，尼奥後經急救脫離危險 。昨天在比賽直播中看到這一幕 ，埃里許多人都為埃裏克森感到揪心 ，克森這其中就包括了曾擔任熱刺主帥的祈祷穆裏尼奧 。在一檔節目上進行連線時 ，也哭穆裏尼奧表示 ，穆里自己在昨日的尼奥比賽期間為埃裏克森祈禱，也因此落淚 。昨天
“昨天我曾為埃裏克森祈禱 ，埃里我也哭了，克森全世界可能也有很多人都這樣做。祈祷我相信很多人都會這樣，也哭因為足球會將大家聚集在一起 。穆里或許昨天足球讓大家聚在一起的理由並不好，但最後我們可以慶幸 ，埃裏克森還活著 。”
