視頻信息還顯示 ，馬寧隨是在毫無準備的情況下被撞倒 ，但倒地後第一時間他便起身 ，隨後完整地執法了當場比賽 。據了解，這次撞擊對馬寧的身體還是造成了一定的傷害 。但其傷勢總體並不算嚴重 。馬寧在接受必要的治療後，已經可以正常活動 。而賽事主辦方裁判部門也按慣例 ，計劃選派他作為VAR裁判員執法下一輪中超某場比賽 。
據了解，馬寧與助理裁判員曹奕 、施翔作為卡塔爾世界杯正賽正選裁判員，從中超聯賽第2階段開始就持續在國內比賽中執法 ，期間3人還攜手執法了一場全國青少年聯賽U15組1/4決賽關鍵戰 。而在國內賽場的執法人員實際上也是3人奔赴世界杯執法舞台前的重要“熱身” 。
