日本媒體《soccerdigestweb》報道稱 ，薪度线廣州隊運營模式發生了180度的变开大轉變 ，他們打算自己“造星” ，启路之後再創佳績 。造星
文章介紹了廣州隊頒布的日媒隊內限薪標準 ，日前球隊老板許家印召開管理層會議 ，关注广州會上確認了廣州隊最新的队限大转政策 ，盡管母公司遭遇經濟危機 ，薪度线生存岌岌可危 ，变开但是启路廣州隊高層明確了將繼續投入足球事業 。
幾日前 ，造星廣州隊官方宣布與艾克森 、阿蘭、洛國富 、費南多 、高拉特5名歸化球員完成解約 ，但公告中並沒有說明所欠薪資是否結清 ，隻是簡單地介紹了與球員和平分手。隨後廣州隊的限薪標準也出爐 ，就在前兩年 ，廣州隊的球員平均年薪還高達500萬元（約9000萬日元） ，在標準頒布之後，將下降到60萬元以下 ，下降幅度高達88% 。
《soccerdigestweb》表示 ，昔日至高無上的強者 ，如今威風已經蕩然無存 ，而大多數的一流中超球隊也麵臨著財務危機 ，他們也被迫修改了類似的管理政策和指導方針 。
曾經用金錢攻勢驚豔了世界足壇的中超聯賽 ，然而他們的國家隊自2002年之後還從未參加過世界杯決賽圈的比賽 ，在中國國內 ，足球氛圍也因此越來越低迷 。（DD）
