打完同澳大利亞隊的李铁临别留念比賽後 ，國足第二天就啟程回國 ，国足隨後進入到為期兩周的教练隔離當中 。休整過後，团队全隊在蘇州就地開練 ，合影到本周二最後一堂訓練課為止 ，表达一直都是歉意李鐵在帶隊 ，隻不過誰都無法說清楚 ，但无在球隊下一次全部集中後 ，法挽率領大家訓練的李铁临别留念又會是誰 。
國足進行隔離的国足兩周 ，同樣也是教练李鐵深陷輿論漩渦的兩周，並且主要話題已經從比賽期間的团队技戰術層麵討論 ，發展到了對李鐵個人一些行為的合影爭議判斷上 ，這其中就包括了李鐵在中澳戰後長達32分鍾的表达發布會發言 ，以及隨後其個人社交媒體上的一係列操作 。
有人認為，李鐵的行為已經影響到國家隊的形象 ，損害了讚助商利益 。也有人覺得 ，對於李鐵的評估 ，還是應該從業務角度入手，不應該上升到其他高度 。
可不管怎麽說 ，和李鐵有關的種種 ，至少短時間內不會平息 ，甚至不少方麵也都看到 ，如果讓李鐵繼續帶隊下去，可能會影響到後續國家隊的輿論處境 ，畢竟 ，李鐵下一次出現在公眾視野當中會說什麽 、做什麽 ，誰也說不清 。這種情況下 ，換帥似乎成為了不可避免的無奈之舉。
11月30日 ，國足在蘇州進行了隔離期間的最後一練 ，按照計劃 ，球隊在12月1日會有一天假期 ，然後2日離開蘇州正式解散 。
恰恰是在11月30日晚上 ，李鐵主動辭職的消息傳出 ，據稱李鐵曾主動找到中國足協領導 ，表達了歉意 ，並且有了不再給大家添麻煩的意向 。
早在球隊仍於西亞訓練比賽期間 ，中國足協方麵曾就相關問題與李鐵進行過深入交流 ，批評了他的某些行為 。隻是現在看來，一切應該都無法挽回 。
行將離開蘇州之際 ，以李鐵為首的教練組和球隊層麵一些工作人員 ，還一起合影留念 。此舉也被認為是李鐵及其團隊對本屆國足征戰此次世預賽至今的一次道別。(東方體育日報)
