本場比賽國民競技開場擺出4-2-3-1陣型，竞技莫雷諾出任單箭頭 。莫雷這是诺进他重回哥倫比亞球隊以來第二次首發出場 ，隊長的球被球场身份也足以證明其已贏得隊伍上下的信任 。
國民競技開場順利 ，吹因15分鍾時安德列斯-安德拉德（Andres Andrade）大禁區左側一腳勁射擊中對方後衛頭部後折射鑽入網窩 ，抬离客隊1-0領先 。申花伤遭可惜僅僅四分鍾之後，大腿队长主隊就憑借布魯諾-泰利茲（Bruno Teliz）禁區弧附近的荣任射門將比分扳平，雙方1-1回到同一條起跑線上 。国民32分鍾時國民競技門將 、竞技後衛連續犯錯 ，主隊謝爾曼-卡德納斯（Sherman Cardenas）再進一球 ，幫助球隊實現反超 。
