北京時間12月19日 ，香川希腊协商希臘塞薩洛尼基俱樂部官方宣布，真司再度和日本球星香川真司協商解約 。旅欧這位32歲的失业老將需要尋找新的下家 。
塞薩洛尼基在官網發布公告稱 ：“感謝香川真司。球队塞薩洛尼基俱樂部宣布終止香川真司的已宣合同，俱樂部和球員雙方同意協商解約終止合作 。布和我們祝願這位球員在未來的解约職業生涯中好運 。”
現年32歲的香川希腊协商香川真司出自大阪櫻花，2010年加盟多特蒙德 ，真司再度並作為主力幫助球隊獲得德甲聯賽兩連冠，旅欧是失业日本旅歐球員中的佼佼者 ，並長期作為日本國家隊的球队進攻核心 。2012年香川真司轉會英超豪門曼聯 ，已宣但他在英超並不適應 ，布和2014年又重返多特蒙德 。之後香川真司還效力過貝西克塔斯 、薩拉戈薩 ，去年10月香川真司和薩拉戈薩解約 。
香川真司在今年1月以自由球員身份加盟塞薩洛尼基 ，為球隊出場12次 。他和塞薩洛尼基的合同原本簽到明年6月 ，但如今雙方提前解約。本賽季塞薩洛尼基在希臘聯賽8勝1平5負，積25分排在積分榜第三位 。
