不過 ，德國主帥勒夫已經確定下課 ，在本屆歐洲杯開始前 ，德國足協已與弗裏克達成協議 ，本屆歐洲杯過後 ，前拜仁主帥將成為德意誌戰車新的舵手 。對於弗裏克執教的德國 ，馬加特看好 ，“我相信他能夠給德國隊帶來新的動力。”
