北京時間8月21日 ，郑铮征调中國國家隊正式宣布 ，日中為了備戰世預賽12強賽 ，午已補充征召山東泰山俱樂部老將鄭錚參加本期國家隊集訓 。抵达目前國家隊正在上海厚湃爾足球公園進行國內的上海伤最後備戰 ，球隊25日將進行一場熱身賽，紧急26日從上海出發 ，因李愈飛赴多哈，磊拉備戰12強賽的郑铮征调首場小組賽 。
此前國足在上海的日中集訓 ，基本以身體調整為主，午已由於球員剛剛結束第一階段的抵达中超聯賽 ，天氣炎熱，上海伤賽程密集 ，紧急隊員消耗比較大 ，因李愈到目前為止 ，球隊還沒有開啟技戰術訓練 ，20日球隊隻安排了上午的身體力量訓練 ，下午專門放假半天 ，讓隊員休息調整。
按照計劃，從21日球隊將正式開始技戰術訓練 。此次征調鄭錚入隊，主要是左後衛位置上的李磊出現了拉傷的情況 。據了解 ，李磊在國安與申花的比賽中出現了肌肉拉傷的情況，上半場結束前就被於洋換下，目前恢複情況並不是很理想。因此國足緊急征調鄭錚入隊 ，作為球隊的老將 ，鄭錚在40強賽階段也曾經被征調入隊 ，他既能夠司職左後衛 ，也能夠司職中後衛，是後防線上的萬金油，他應該能夠應對國足後防線上的不時之需 。
21日中午 ，鄭錚已經抵達上海 ，與全隊會合，21日下午的訓練，鄭錚就應該能夠參加 。不過到目前為止 ，李磊也還在隊中 ，他是否會跟隨球隊前往多哈 ，還要看最近幾天的訓練情況，教練組才會作出最終的決定 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
