北京時間11月28日 ，據《太陽報》報道 ，英格曼城主帥瓜迪奧拉給出了一個誘人的兰瓜拉亲暗示，他可能有一天會像索思蓋特一樣成為英格蘭隊的迪奥带队主帥。
瓜迪奧拉一直以來都承認 ，口证做國家隊主帥的实想想法對於他是有著吸引力的。
盡管無論任何時候 ，踢世都沒有人建議過他離開曼城 。接手界杯但是英格 ，當那一天真的兰瓜拉亲到來的時候 ，也許三獅軍團主帥的迪奥带队這個位置對這位西班牙人有著足夠的吸引力 。
瓜迪奧拉與曼城的口证合同還剩2年 ，與此同時 ，实想索思蓋特剛剛與英格蘭簽署了一份直至2024年的踢世合同 。
現年50歲的接手界杯西班牙人表示 ：“索思蓋特幹的非常出色 ，他剛剛簽下了一份新合同，所以恭喜他。”
