北京時間6月5日 ，曝登據《馬卡報》 、贝莱《每日體育報》等媒體的免签消息稱 ，巴薩邊鋒奧斯曼-登貝萊距離加盟切爾西已近在咫尺 ，切尔签约《每日體育報》更是西已表示這樁轉會已基本成為定局 。
登貝萊與巴薩間的基本局双續約談判已經成為了肥皂劇 ，法國邊鋒從去年夏天開始就在與巴薩“鬥智鬥勇”。成定雖然一度遭到了封殺，曝登但登貝萊在解禁之後立即拿出了驚人的贝莱狀態 ，一躍成為巴薩進攻端的免签大腿 。
然而在登貝萊的切尔签约未來問題上 ，巴薩如今沒有了話語權 。西已《馬卡報》表示，基本局双登貝萊現在即將加盟切爾西。成定而《每日體育報》更是曝登表示這樁轉會已基本成為定局 。
英國媒體《TalkSPORT》則指出 ，切爾西是登貝萊最熱門的下家，雙方將會簽訂一份為期4年的合同 ，法國邊鋒將與自己的恩師圖赫爾在斯坦福橋相遇 。
